Delta ("the App") is a personal productivity and habit tracking application. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored and protected.

2. Data We Collect

The App collects the following data to provide its core functionality:

Google Account information – your name and email address, used solely for authentication via Google Sign-In.
App content – tasks, habits, calendar blocks, goals, and profile settings you create within the App.
Usage data – streak counts, XP, completed tasks and habits, stored to power the gamification system.

3. How We Use Your Data

To sync your data across devices via Firebase (Google Cloud).
To display your personal statistics and progress within the App.
To send optional local push notifications (reminders for tasks and streaks).

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area, personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

User consent – when you sign in and use the App.
Service necessity – data processing is required to provide the functionality of the App, such as syncing tasks and storing progress.

5. Data Storage

All user data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a secure cloud database provided by Google LLC. Data is associated with your unique user ID and can only be accessed by you and the services required to operate the App.

Data may be processed on secure servers located in the European Union and the United States.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App under Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase – authentication and cloud storage
Google Sign-In – account authentication
Google Play Billing – in-app purchases (Pro subscription)

9. User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable data protection laws, you may have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your personal data
Withdraw consent for data processing

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
